The gun is cleaned internally after each 200-500 rds., rails lubed etc. No mods to the gun, no damage, kept in air cond. room etc.
For about 2,500 rds. since I bought it brand-new (retail, in the box), almost every round in each "brick" of Rem. Golden Bullet worked perfectly, and the only issues were with Federal's bulk "blue box".
After a good internal cleaning last night, strange that the slide often won't recoil enough to fire CCI Minimags or Rem. Golden Bullet.
It's not any big deal, but it's annoying when 1 in about 10 rds. won't ignite the first time. It might be that the M&P Compact has a smoother operation.
