Every day for this entire year I will post old school printed gun ads each day.

Oh I like that John Wayne Vaquero... did a quick gunbroker and one just sold with active bidding and an active price... But Gosh it may just be worth it . Just so you can say "What ya shooting there Pilgrim" with authority at the range.

Added info: There were only 3500 of these made..

All these ads from the 70’s amuse me because I grew up in the 70’s and remember reading in all the magazines of the day just how terrible the quality of new production guns was compared to the “good old days.”

I guess the definition of “good old days” to most people must be the 15-20 years on either side of their birth. As I was born in 1963 those 70’s guns look pretty good to me. :)

I'm a 1963 model myself...

I’ve always wanted a 4” .44 Spl Bulldog...something about that name and caliber just sounds right to me.
Stay safe.
Not just a little creepy that those two guys in the CA ad could almost be David Berkowitz's brothers.

As to a 4" .44? My old Target Bulldog was my second ever revolver and I can't imagine what it would take to get me to give it up. Traded and IHC Scout top to my barber for it back in the day.:)

Todd.

I owned a scout , the one seat version with the half a V-8 engine. That thing was embarrassing in any hilly terrain on the highway. I took it places off road that had me wondering why in the world I went there before I made it back out. The little thing would go about anywhere as long as you didn’t get in a big hurry and had plenty of gas. It was fond of gasoline.

One of my forestry classmates when I was in school up at Humboldt had one, it surely did take us back on some logging roads that made me nervous!

A guy down the hill from me has a gold/white hardtop Jeep Commando that I think he would sell... if I only had the money to offer and time to work on it ...:(

Stay safe.
