Every round thru case gauge?

From a semi-auto handgun point of view, why not just use the barrel you intend to shoot the ammo through and save the money. If your case gauge is not minimally tighter than your tightest barrel/chamber of that caliber, why bother? When your freshly made rounds "plunk" and spin in the barrel/chamber you intend to shoot them from, a case gauge isn't going to tell you anything you don't already know.

Because I own multiple 9 mm firearms and the case gauge will make sure match and carry rounds will function 100% in them all.

I don't use a case gauge for anything.
I do run bottleneck rifle rounds through my hunting rifles to make sure they all chamber before going hunting.
Same principle I guess.

Sort of, some of us do gauge rifle rounds because they are going through an AR -15 or M14 platform possibly with a match chamber so closing the bolt on each round is not really a good idea.

Your hunting guns may have a looser chamber or more head space or not than a match rifle.

Some day you may find that when you open the bolt and extract the round a bullet will sick in the lands, and you will wind up with an action full of powder and a stuck bullet.

I hate to admit that in the last 30lbs of powder for 9mm every single round has gone through my Dillon case guage.

Whew.. think on that number for awhile.

I have found a dozen splits midway through brass that I didn't notice until final step

I have been going thru all My 10MM and 40 S&W loads since I got a Gauge. Found a Cracked 10mm case I missed originally. Still going thru all My made up rounds. The Gauge has MORE than Paid for itself!!!!

Yes I do.
I have long used a Shock Bottle and he recently got the Armanvo when he was ordering other parts for his 750. If the Armanvo had been available when I bought the Shock Bottle, I wold have opted for it. While it is a little more expensive, it is much more convenient to use
I bought one - thank you for the recommendation
ran 200 rounds off the 650 press- loaded up the case gauge, reverse and load the plano 100 round ammo boxes
200 rounds ready for the match tomorrow - Steel Shoot in the snow...gotta love it.

Because I shoot my reloads through at least a dozen different pistols (9mm).
Shockbottle gauges are expensive ($110) not including risers but I’m glad I made the investment.

But only if your case gauge chamber is of a size smaller or tighter than your tightest 9mm barrel chamber. A gauge is of no use to me as the Wilson gauge I purchased "passes" rounds that will not function in the CZ.

But only if your case gauge chamber is of a size smaller or tighter than your tightest 9mm barrel chamber. I think we're basically saying the same thing, I prefer to use my CZ barrel as it is chambered tighter than any other of my 9mm barrels. A gauge is of no use to me as the Wilson gauge I purchased "passes" rounds that will not function in the CZ.

Are you having malfunctions?
No malfunctions. My plunk tests seem to be working. But, I hate thinking I am performing a comprehensive test when I actually am not. Point taken though. Sometimes I fall into the trap of trying to be perfect when good enough works just fine.
