I just painted the grip backstrap and frame of my Walker with rust bluing solution. The first go didn't... well, go. I did it when it was too cold. Evidently nitric acid and metal salts turn green when they freeze. I got patchy rust from it, right where the frozen patches had been, but nothing worth working with. I sanded it off, and I'm trying again.
I decided to be bold and daring this time. The first attempt was just the backstrap, but I figured if I was going to do it, I'd better put something into it. So, the frame is hanging from a wire from my two-wheeler in the garage.
