When my ex left she took her Colt National Match Gold Cup and asked me for one other gun, a 1943 Remington-Rand 1911A1. Like an idiot I let her have it, hoping to get it back one day. Well, she gave it to her brother-in-law (whom I liked), but when he died the family sold it off without giving me a chance to even offer to buy it back.
