I have a Mosin Nagant that I would like to reload cast bullets for. My bore was slugged to .313"
My current Lee die set has an expanding ball that I measured out to be .308"
I was planning on casting bullets sized to .314" as that would make my bullets 1,000th larger to my bore. My question would be what size expander should I get to replace my current one of .308" or am I good with that?

When I bought my Lee 7.62x54r die it had a .308 expanding ball in it. My rifle needs a .312 round so I called Lee & they sent me the .312 expanding ball free. I don't know where you are going to find an expanding ball that big, you may have to have one custom made.

Buy one for a 8x57 or 32 special.
Chuck it in a drill and turn it down with sandpaper.
As a side note. Make sure your chamber has clearance for a .314 bullet and the case neck. You may need to neck turn brass.

Agreed. I didn't run in to problems until I started trying to chamber .316 bullets, but if you have exceptionally thick-necked brass (Talking to you, Winchester) you may have to turn necks at .314.

Depends on the rifle/chamber.
