so i have a bass pro brand gun safe made by browning and i cant find extra shelves anywhere online. I'm a pistol nut primarily so extra shelves are a must. i'm not exactly a handy man so building/ carpeting homemade shelves are out of the question.

any ideas where i could order some?

FWIW, Your local lumber yard Home depot/llowes/ etc. can help you out. They can cut the shelves to size for you, Give you suggestions on mounting system. 3M spray adhesive a utility knife and a small carpet peice ,and your in business,

For a bunch of pistols I have found a coated wire dish strainer to hold a bunch well. On the top shelf.

I was looking at safes recently. I asked the same question. The dealer had a number of loose shelves and racks for each brand so he could tweak the layout to suit the customer and said an extra shelf for the one I was looking at was $12-$15. Not bad for one already the right size, carpeted, and with brackets to fit the safe's internal rails.

Or, like jmorris, a dish rack to hold pistols side by side instead of laying flat. Or a purpose made pistol rack for a little more money but more heavily built.

There are 3rd parties who sell Lazy Susan-type pistol racks, and others made out of heavy wire (like dish washing rack). Google-search them.
