You can travel to Africa and shoot a bunch of critters for what it costs for one elk hunt, that may or may not result in a harvest.

All my research indicates that eland can get considerably bigger than moose.

A big Common Bull Eland will go slightly over 2,000 lbs. A Lord Derby Eland can get even bigger. A big Bull moose can go 1,500 LBS a giant bigger than that. I'd say they are comparable in size and body mass. Neither a bull moose nor an eland are dangerous game so IMO that opens up a lot of rounds that can be effectively used on these giants.
