If I hand to choose one load that works well in the most guns, that would be it. Shoots well in both Marlin 60s, Henry H001, Victory pistol and Heritage revolver.

Aguila Super Extra HV 40 grain copper washed bullet works very well in my picky 1911-22.

I shoot a lot of Aquila Super Extra HV 40Gr Rn and 38Gr HP along side CCI AR Tactical and CCI MiniMags. The Aquila works just as well. And for the most part, I have to shoot pistols from a rest to notice much difference in accuracy between the two brand. Both do very well in my Glock G44, Kel-Tec CP33, and S&W 22A.

Well it looks like the Pistol Match ammo I tried isn’t going to work for me. I can’t shoot it well enough to see a difference from the other ammo types I’ve tried. Even from a rest it didn’t out shoot my usual target 22 loads.

I recently had my entire rimfire ammo stash out which is like a history of all the ammo I ever bought from cheapo Wildcats to Green Tag and Eley.

The only thing I buy anymore is CCI Standard Velocity or MiniMags. Not necessarily because they are the very best for any given gun, but because they give the most consistent performance across all of my guns. If I shot match I might stick up on whatever my match rifle liked the best, but I don't. I have too many rimfire firearms to keep ammo specific to each one. CCI gives me the most consistent performance across all of them.

22wmr is my one exception to this. For that rifle I favor the Federal 50gr jhp in addition to the CCI 40gr jsp. This is because of performance on the pigs and canines I keep it for.

For something that's reliable, above average accurate and consistent without breaking the bank,Federal Auto Match has done well for me.My Ruger Mk III shoots it very well and always cycles.CCI Minimag HP is good for hunting and about as accurate.I also shoot some Green Tag,but it's a little pricey in the pistols. It's pure beauty in my Remington 541S.I have a good supply of SK match in the orange label box that's been disappointing in most of my 22's.In my Ruger Precision Rimfire with the can on it.about 1 round out of 10 is subsonic. The sub rounds will hit half an inch lower than the hypersonic rounds at 50 yards, and about 1 out of 10 will fail to cycle the Mk III.
