Favorite dove/small game loads

I like to use skeet and trap loads for dove and small game. I like Winchester AA and Remington Nitro trap/sporting clays loads with 7 and 1/2 shot. They seem to hit better than regular field loads.

I agree. they use premium components in those shells to make them shoot softer and pattern better. They are the the king of the ATA trap ranges for good reason. They are extra good to reload also, because the hulls are premium quality too.

For what should be a little less cost, look at the Fiocchi target loads, like the 1oz crushers. Made in Missouri, good stuff on the insides, and run about 1300 fps, they should be about $1-2 cheaper per box

I like locally produced farm products and ammo equally well. My fav is Kent rolled at ole' Activ plant in WV. While more expensive then promo loads the quality is excellent.

I also use Winchester AA loads for dove as they out perform the cheaper brands.
