I was in Wal Mart tonight (felt like I was in a Thrid World country compared to my usual shopping haunts) and saw shotgun ammo from Remington marked Nitro 27 Premier Handicap. Loaded with HDCP as the "drams equivalent" rating. Shot was offered in 7.5, 8, or 9 sizes.
They also had the other Premier Trap load that I've seen before.
What is this Nitro 27 stuff? Have I just not seen it before? Is it a good dove and quail load? I've read that target loads have harder shot and also kick less, and make good hunting loads. What does HDCP mean compared to the regular dram ratings?
???
Thanks,
Lone Star
