Umm, I always liked "The Chicago Typewriter." There should be a pistol named "Thor." It sounds so imposing, especially when said in a booming voice.

I've always been partial to Colt Lightnings-the rifle, that is.

Trapdoor Springfields always conjure up pictures of grizzled, badly-in-need-of-a-shave prospectors/scouts wearing dirty, faded-to-pink longjohns tensley crouched behind a rock/wagon box facing down Injuns.

Just saying "Westley-Richards" or "Holland & Holland" in front of the words "Express Rifle" makes me feel very upper-crust.

somewhere i had heard that the designer (or maybe simply a member of the design TEAM, don't know much about the UZI's "childhood") having the first name Uziel.


as to weird name, who in their right mind labels a rifle or carbine a "disapator"??? sounds like the thing is going to up and evaporate!!
