Wilson calls their shot guns by the generic name of 'Scatterguns'. I like that.

I also like the name 'Paladin'.

Not a gun but gun related, I like 'Rock Chucker'.

Another vote for Delta Elite...conjures up images of super elite troopers with a handgun chambered in an elite cartridge......well at least the "elite cartridge" is accurate.....:D

Also like:
Ruger #1...kinda says it all to me
Combat Elite
Defender

Cool Gun Names

In my opinion, some makes or models have guns have very cool sounding names. Other times, it's the manufacturer that has the cool sounding name.

My all time favorite is Mauser.

But there are others.

A lot of my favorites are German; German can be a very harsh, all-business sounding language, somewhat appropriate for military arms.

-Mauser
-Spandau

But there are others.

-Enfield
-Thompson
-Browning
-Springfield
-Armalite

Obviously the Johnson autoloading rifle:

I want one, not for its collector value, not because I think it's necessarily a really good weapon, but because I want to say, some day, to some girl, something like, "Why don't we go over to my place, and I'll show you my Johnson?" (Yes, I have been slapped and kicked out of bed for similar remarks.)

Dulle Grete

Mons Meg

Big Bertha

All famous old LARGE cannons.

Not a gun, but my favorite weapon-name was used by the Crusaders for a trebuchet at a siege: The Bad Neighbor.

Tommy Gun...kind of like your buddy Tommy who seems nice enough.......but can tear you apart.
Combat Commander....like a superhero
Any Harrington and Richardson....sounds classy(like a law firm)
For that matter Heckler and Kotch.......a couple of nice German fellows:D

Oh, yeah, the Swamp Angel-

Used by US Army war criminals to bombard Charleston with incendiary shells. Big Parrott rifle, burst after 30 or so shots.

M1 Garands made by International Harvester: Sort of a Grim Reaper to our enemies throughout the world, hmm?

The Dardick pistol, which fires the tround!

<edited in deference to MLH's observation. MLH is right, this should be kept on the High Road. The Dardick 'Tround' has a cool sound to it, though>

Hunh?!??

Okay, they're great firearms, but... great names?? I think not! :)

There are lots of nifty names for lame guns, and lackluster names for awesome guns. While I'm not much of a fan for the Winchester Defender, the name is pretty kewl. :)

.577 Tyrannosaur

Marine Magnum

Time for a quote from Dogma... "This one, I call the Fecallator. At the mere sight of it, your target immediately sh**s himself." :D

Dragunov

Dragoon
