Cool! So they do make new uppers right... it's not like a product that's "out of stock" because it was discontinued 5 years ago.

Not at all, they do pop up here and there, just need to keep searching. However building an AR upper is super easy.

Just working remote right now and caught between living situations. Buying a vise, action wrench, etc would just mean more things to pack up or sell in a couple months.
Guns though, you can always make some extra room to pack those
I'll probably just wait a while till things settle in and pick up an Aero Precision upper if and when they become available (I'm now on the email notification list). The gameplan is to pair that with a KE Arms poly lower in FDE and a red dot for a lightweight build.

Palmetto has complete m-lok pencil uppers. Rails are easy to remove and alumahyde is cheap.
