Federal brass made by winchester

I seen a company today selling federal brass, made by winchester, with federal head stamp.. Do you think it will be better than federal made brass?

I got to ask. How do you know it is made by winchester if it has a federal head stamp?

Which company? That seems interesting that they would do that though.

I think behind the scenes that some companies make other companies brass. it just has to meet the specifications. I wouldn't worry about it

They are procuced with the headstamp code FC, by Federal Cartridge Corp., Anoka, MN 55303; and also produced in Germany and Austria for Federal.

This is according to Cartridge Collectors Website.

Could be a confusion of terms.

Perhaps a Federal case in a cartidge like 308 Win on the base. It could be confusing to have both names.

It seems very unlikely to me.

Federal is an ATK owned company, and they have CCI, Speer, Federal, and the Lake City army ammo plant to make their own brass.

Winchester is nothing more then a competitor with CCI, Speer, and Federal, and I doubt very much they have Winchester make anything for them.
