FFL referal help needed in So Cal

Howdy
My favorite FFL is on his way back to Iraq and I am now without an FFL to do transfers for me. In checking around it seems that the local shops want a LOT of money to do a simple transfer. One store said $100 minimum to bring in a gun from out of state, others want percentages plus fees. This is not a good situation for my gun buying well being.

Is there an FFL in Orange County Kalif (preferably south OC) that is willing to do out of state transfers and is not gonna try and gouge me??

Ade's gun shop in Orange - accross the street from Fowler - is very reasonable and flexible - very nice guy.

Saddleback Valley Gun Center - 949-582-9581 is another one to check - I've purchased from him, but not transferred anything in.

Did a couple transfers with Whittier Gun and Pawn. Prices were cheap, no complaints....YMMV.

Looking for a FFL closer to the WestSide, WLA, Culver City area. Wouldn't mind some recommendations.

Actually I've got to glom on to this thread with my own similar question:

Any honest dealers in the San Fernando Valley willing to receive an out-of-state M1 Carbine?

I went to one otherwise decent gun shop/range and they told me it had to be sent to them from a dealer ("by law," they said, which is not true) and they were going to charge me...are you ready...$90!

Anybody know offhand of any FFL holders who will receive from a private citizen (as permitted by the BATF) and not charge me half the cost of the damned gun?
