For various reasons, I hadn't had time to shoot my Umarex Origin after getting it other than a few, "Does this thing work" shots. Most of today was focused on getting it sighted in, however, I am going to have to try again because I realized that I didn't get the scope as square to the gun as I wanted.

I knew there was no one using my lodge building. That gave me a large indoor area to practice in. At ten yards all of the groups could easily be covered by a nickel. After about roughly every 55 shots I put it back on the compressor. I got a VEVOR 4500 and it was always done refilling the rifle before I was done loading the magazines.

In all, I am quite happy with it. I can see myself getting back into airguns. After carting the compressor and target backstop back home, it occurred to me that it might be just as well to leave them at the lodge. It would certainly make shooting there more convenient.

The Umarex Origin was my first PCP and it served me well, but I had to chase some POI changes.
I ended up with a cheap moderator that also supported the end of the barrel inside of the shroud. Also a barrel band that I placed just ahead of the frond OriginBarrelBand.jpg

Also, Umarex has good customer service.
I had mine less than a year when it lost all air and would not refill. I contacted Umarex, They had me send it in to them and replaced it with a new one that like the original, came with magazines, fill probe, various orings and tools and a new hand pump.
The new gun was also improved over the one I sent in and has internal baffels that also support the barrel, so I was able to discard the cheap moderator.
That was three years ago if I recall, and the gun is still doing fine.

Now for the down side.
The Origin started the airgun addiction and I now have two more much more expensive guns and trying to to give into temptation and buy more.
