I used AmmoMike's small base plate, TylerR's improved version of the OpenScad bullet plate maker to make the .223 wheel, and a proximity sensor to stop the thing when the tubes are full. Makes for a short video.....

I did not use Ammo Mike's trademark radial troughs, and that kept the bullets down in the bottom where they belong.....so I didn't have to use the bullet knocker either. (that's the green part held open by the first thing I saw to cram in there to hold it. Way quieter without the knocking)

Fills it up waay faster than I can load.;)

Now I gotta figure out how I'm going to connect it to my RCBS Tube Rifle Bullet Feeder die on the progressive.

The last part of the video shows the black graphite tube that came with RCBS's tube feeder.....I wanted to see the bullets in the tube so I rigged up a jig using a Dremel with a cutoff blade and ran the tube through it lenthwise, cutting through one wall. It's really strong tube, so it didn't phase tube integrity, but I can SEE the bullets. Why graphite.....it's got practically zero friction.... If you want to see the bullets too.....make the video full screen and play it one more time.:)

I know what you mean.....I blame AR-bossman, RedlegEd, and jmorris for this. But I have to admit, it's a lot of fun, and it's a great stay at home Covid, rain, snow day activity.
