I made it to the range this morning. It was windy enough to blow an empty gun case off the bench but I was shooting straight into it. The range has fourteen benches which are spaced center to center twelve feet apart. I found every other bench to be chained to where you can't use the swivel seat and a warning that anyone using would them have their membership revoked. Come on, people. Isn't this just a little drastic? Twenty four feet, gimme a break from stupid people. The county has no, I repeat, NO c-bug cases.

Anyway on to shooting. I shot my new toy, the 22 rimfire conversion unit for my AR. Subsonic was a no-go but CCI 36 grain HP didn't blink in sixty rounds so I went on to sighting in other guns I had made sight changes on. The conversion is definately minute of jackrabbit at fifty yards. Got two more 22's dialed in, my problem child Savage FV-SR and my Colt M4-22 that my oldest great grand daughter took away from me to be "her" gun. It didn't require a lot of effort on her part to take it.

I also got my Rossi 92 .357 sighted in with the reloads I intend to use while it's doing jeep gun duty. I got a 3/4" group at twenty-five yards which I don't consider too bad for my antique eyes using peep sights but I'll continue tweaking the load up and down a little looking for it's sweet spot. All in all I had a very enjoyable day.
