I'm sure someone else has done this experiment, but I took several different headstamps and loaded some dummy rounds and chambered them from slide lock into my 1911. I made the slightest of crimp adjustments as I barely have any at all.
Winchester, Federal, S&B, G.F.L., AMERC experienced no setback. I think there were 1 or 2 others I can't remember.
CBC and Aguila were around .002"
PPU and RP were the worst at .004"-.005"
My sizing die is resizing to .4675"-.468" OD according to my calipers, and I get wasp waist on all my rounds. I think at this point it's a matter of trying other sizers, tossing the worst headstamps, or just shoot them.
