Would anyone be interested in a THR shoot in florida? It would be nice to meet some fellow HR's. If anyones interested,lets hear about it. I live in central florida in between Orlando and Tampa so I'm not to far from anywhere.

I'd be interested in participating in such a shoot. (And I'm only about 20 miles from you in Plant City.) Perhaps a range to go to would be Teneroc - they've got the pistol/rifle/shotgun/archery set up there. And it's relatively easy access off of I-4 for folks to get to.

They also have a sporting clay course.I've never shot it but I'm told it's great.
Also 3-d archery available to those interested.
Gun rentals available.Range price is $8.00 IIRC.
If this is to far for everyone,I'm willing to travel.Any suggestions for a date?

Manatee Gun and Archery on RT 64. Almost to the very east end of the county is where I like to shoot. I'm in Pinellas Co. by the way.

Itote, K-man has the link. 500 yard rifle, 50 yard handgun, bays for games like cowboy action shooting. and archery. Open Thurs thru Sun.

Manatee may let you shoot at a frozen turkey. I do not think they would approve of it being the projectile.

I've got Good Friday off 3/25. So I won't have to work that weekend. Time off has been very rare for me. I'm working 12 days on 2 days off since Sept. last year. Any good for you?

A friend of mine is wondering about the results of a 440 grain Corbon out of my 4" S&W 500 versus a frozen turkey, and none of the ranges around here will let me bring a frozen turkey as a target... something about cleanup. Just curious, that's all.
