Fore end for TC Contender 23" barrel?

I have the older style Contender and thought of finally buying a rifle barrel for it after 17 years of handgun barrels.

I see that TC now has 23" bull barrels available. I like the fore end style of the new G2 Contender rifles but will they work with the old style frame? I know the the G2 stocks will not work.

Any help appreciated.
