Had to go to the "big city" today (Baton Rouge) and stopped by a local shop. The owner was pricing and putting on the shelves fresh powder! I grabbed a pound of AA#2 paid the man , and was out the door in a flash. $32.95 plus tax. If you're in south east La. stop by and see these folks. La. Gun and Reloading. Good people!

I've only been there one time, but I believe that would be Sidney Nebraska.

I was in a LGS last week and noticed they had quite a bit of powder on the shelf. Still only pound per customer but right in the midst of all that powder was one lone pound or Varget. I haven't seen Varget on the shelves in about 2 years. $38 later it was heading back to my reloading bench. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

Sure am glad I laid in a bunch of powder after the last shortage, and don't have to pay the current prices... Actually been thinking of selling some. I could ask halfway between what I paid and what it's selling for now, and there would be two happy reloaders.

Good to hear these reports, makes me feel things are headed back to close to "normal". Back in early June I found a few powders on the shelf at our LGS and picked up a couple of pounds of Clays. Last week I dropped back in and they had added H380 to it and I got a pound. Now I see they have some Staball 6.5 now. I'll have to get some of this too for my 6.5 CM.

I have a Sportsman's Warehouse and a couple other stores near me I try to check at least once a week. I've found powder periodically this past year and have even managed to lay in a little. Lately, powder has been available enough that I don't automatically get something I might be able to use. Ammo and projectiles have also been more available. Primers have been another story. I was able to score 500 CCI41's last week but it had been the first time for primers in at least a couple months.

I’ve been seeing powder and bullets more regularly, but still “bone dry” on primers.

I have noticed powder trickling back in locally . I just picked up 10 pounds of Varget at $ 38.95 and IMR 4064 at a couple bucks less per pound .They had primers also but I did not take a close look at prices because I don't need any...but I did hear people complaining about the prices.

I have seen a small amount of powder in a couple of gun shops. There was absolutely none a couple of months ago.
