A few months ago a friend came by and gave me a five gallon o mixed brass, that was mostly 5.56. He also had a box full of bullet molds. The bullet molds were a little on the dirty side, with a few handles on the rough side.
He said, he was helping a friend clean out a garag, that had belonged to family members that had passed away.
When they came across the brass and molds, his friend said, “Just throw that trash away.” He asked if he could have it and was told that it was just junk, but he was welcome to it.
My friend knew that I would have use for it, or know someone that would. I offered to pay him for the stuff, but he refused. He said that I had helped him out mo times then he could remember and would not take anything for the stuff.
Well, I have more brass around here then I’ll ever need, and wasn’t looking forward to sorting out another five gallon bucket.
Now the bullet molds. I don’t cast my own bullets, but I have a few friends that do.
I sent a text to my buddy Bryan and sent him this pic.

Bryan said that he was interested but, was having bypass surgery and that it might be a month or two before he could come by.
Well, yesterday Bryan texted and asked if I would be home today, to which I replied yes.
When he got here this morning, he was moving a little slow, but was very interested in five of the molds and offered me $120 for the five. I told him hell no with a laugh. He then asked how much. I told him that he had to take all of the molds and the five gallon bucket of brass, and that the price was $50.
At first he tho I was kidding. I told him that he could sell the other molds to make his money back. He asked if I was sure, and I said yes.
I loaded the stuff in his truck, told him to take care of himself, and to tell his wife to stop feeding him her homemade cookies.
