I've got my eyes on an old Remington 512, and inspection of the bore revealed that the thing hasn't been cleaned since the last time it was fired, which may have been decades ago, for all I know. Naturally, I am wary of whether corrosion has taken placeduring this time. If it has, what would it look like? I don't want to make the wrong choice when it comes to deciding whether or not to get this puppy.
