Summer trap league is done. Tough competition. Next, eight week "combo" league. A round of 16 yard trap and a round of skeet each week. I generally shoot my 48 year old TB and my semi-ancient 1100 for these events but as I looked in the safe I thought, "where did all this stuff come from?". I have found it hard to pass up a pretty piece of wood or a classic gun if the price is reasonable. I'm going to shoot something different each week. BT, 2 TBs, a 3200, a Classic Trap, Model 12, a Wingmaster, and an 1100 Trap. Skeet will see a couple repeats but there is an 1100, a 686, a 20 1100, and a skeet barrel on an 870.
Prediction: scores will be about the same as last year. Trap average will be about 23-24, skeet 22-23. Fun league should be fun.
Going with one ounce loads across the board.
At 78, you sometimes surprise yourself when you open the safe.

Was over for us before it started. The club's board for some reason decided shooting had to be started by three pm. Didn't tell everybody. Several teams still have members who work. I'm rethinking my membership in that club.
