A few years back I came across this revolver in a local Kokomo Indiana pawn shop for $135. I was looking it over to see who made it....it had no import markings.
I was thinking out loud, and said "I'm beginning to think that this is a genuine Colt." The lady said "if it is, we have it priced too low!" I ended up purchasing it for $107 out the door!
It still had the yellow Colt hang tag, but no box. It appears to be unfired but just a bit "shop worn" like it had been handled a lot.
Apparently Colt just made them for a few months. Any idea how many of them were made? Any idea how much they are worth? How accurate would this be at 25 yards with a load that it favors? Is it too rare and valuable to shoot?
Thanks for any feedback or comments!
