In my top kitchen drawer of knives resides, in a nice walnut box, the Gerber carving knife that we bought so very long ago as a gift for my Dad.
It has Gerber-12 on one side of the handle and "snickersnee" on the other side. Has a kind of two prong fork at the tip too.
Funny thing is that it's still LNIB after 50+ years as Dad preferred using his older carbon steel knives. It came to me after mom passed about 15 years ago.
I guess it is the "safe queen" equivalent of my kitchen utensils...
