Getting Rid of Gold Browning Trigger: Polish, or Strip, or ?

Best way to get the gold off a Browning trigger? Polish it off? Use chemicals to strip (what/how)? Other??? The rifle in question is a B92 and the gold makes my teeth grate.

No chemicals [they use cyanide!!] Just polish it off and cold blue it.
