+1 on th 23 with a 19 barrel,if you shoot on a regular basis it's cost efficient.don't worry about the difference in recoil.

I based my own decision purely on the number of rounds available without a reload. The 17 wins.

i say get the 17, ammo is cheaper. and will allow you to shoot more.
