i did a quick search and did not find an answer, if i missed it please link it

i currentl carry a glock 19 in a c-tac slide and a xtra mag ( allessi).

i am on a budget so i can not afford to buy a bunch and see what works, i am hoping you guys can hlp me narrow it down. my budget is not so strict that i want a cheap holster.

i am 5' 7" 150ish lbs 31 waist

looking for a ccw owb holster. no preference on material no preference on retention device(thum break, tension screw)

thanks for all the help

not sure if youre looking to stick with leather, if you are i prefer the Galco products, they are made very well and very durable.

i have gone more towards the plastic holsters because they dont lose shape when the gun is removed and are easier to re-holster. i like the Blackhawk Serpa series. i have a Blade-Tech too which is another great brand.

if you're carrying with a weapon mounted light (like an M3, M6, TLR-1, etc) then i'd look at Blade-Tech, they pretty much have the market cornered as of now on those types of holsters. i have one for my Kimber TLE/RL-II with a TLR-1 and it is really a great holster.

I have tried a bunch of them. I have two that I use. One is the Galco MX-5 Matrix paddle. Not the most concealable, but the paddle makes it quick on and quick off. I keep it in my truck. My favorite, and the one I use all the time is the Glock Sport Combat Holster UNIVERSAL holster. Fits about any Glock, fits very close to the body, and rides high on the waist. It does a good job of retaining the weapon, and has slots that can be trimmed to fit any belt. Costs every bit of $13.95. If you are on a tight budget, either of these will do a good job.

The Galco Cop Slide is a good holster. It looks decent, is pretty comfortable and is relatively inexpensive around $45 or so.

I've used the Blackhawk CQC serpa before. I'm not a big fan of them but the holster is pretty decent. Relatively inexpensive, good fit and finish. Retention is excellent but you have to practice with that button.

Check out Sidearmor holsters. They are pretty high quality, expensive at $70 for a kydex holster. Worth it? That's for you to decide, it's worth it to me.:D

Great! Mine should be arriving soon! :)

I've had nothing but problems from Sidearmor. Just my 2 cents...YMMV

BlackHawk CQC Serpa Holster Right Hand Glock 19, 23, 32 Polymer Carbon Fiber Black I actually was shown was of these at the local shop, and was very impressed. When you depress the lever with your index finger and draw the weapon, your finger is naturally in the safe on the frame/slide not on the trigger.

Same holster just Left Hand version.

If you are looking to save a few extra bucks there are the non carbon fiber ones as well. Non Carbon Fiber Right Hand Holster & Non Carbon Fiber Left Hand Holster

De Santis Speed Scabbard. I prefer the one without the thumbsnap but you can get it if you want. Weapon is held very secure by friction and belt tension alone. I've used these for 20 years without ever losing a gun due to any kind of activity. I've got one for each gun I carry.
