I just bought a loaded chamber indicator from RYG.com (swapping the stock black one for a silver one). My issue is that the old extractor did not have the spring loaded bearing but the new one does:cuss:. I have looked online for a "how to' of some kind but have found nothing :banghead:. Anyone know how to install the new style loaded chamber indicator / extractor on a Glock 22 gen 4 ?
Your help would be appreciated.

Not sure who ryg.com is but replacing the extractor should be the same as on the first 3 gens of Glocks. With the slide off turn it over and push the little black spacer that you can see next to the striker, forward. This will release the tension on the back plate and you can slide it down and off the slide. Pull out the LCI and pull the firing pin out the back. Depress the firing pin safety and the extractor can then be removed. Replace in reverse order. Extractor, firing pin block, firing pin, lci.
