I've decided that my Glock 26 will be getting an upgrade soon. One part of that upgrade will be adding Tritium night sights. I've pretty much settled on Trijicon because... well, they're Trijicon. I've noticed that Trijicon makes Novac style rear sights. My questions are as follows:
What advantage to Novak sights have over standard sights?
Would Novak sights look and or be stupid (functionally worthless) on a compact handgun?
I have no experience shooting a gun with Novak sights, however in browsing handguns with Novak sights, I noticed that the slight recession of the dots on the rear sight seems to increase (perceptible) contrast. That, I like.
