Glock 43X

Inherited a 43x. I'm totally not a Glock guy but may keep this one and let the inherited 17s and 19s go. But the 43x doesn't have a manual safety which is a serious turn off for me.

Just make the safety 'click' sound like they do in movies.

43X is my EDC. I carry it in a Tulster Profile holster. Glock mags. Boring reliable.

I tend to shoot the Shield Plus a tad better, but the abrasive grip can be uncomfortable for extended periods of time.

I have both the 48 and the 43X and like them both. I put the sheild arms mag release and 15rnd mags in the 48. They work well but your mileage may vary. I trust it so much I passed it down to my son.

I bought a 43X for myself and to keep it light enough to CCW. I left the original mag release and factory mags to it. It has a little more snap to it but it's a great gun.

After looking very closely at the SIG P365X, Glock G43X, and the Glock G48, I went with the SIG. But the two Glocks came in tied for Second Place because I also liked the larger grip frame (along with the higher capacity magazines), that was on them.

So a couple of weeks went by and I went to the LGS to pick up a G43X but due to a sale that they had on them they were all gone. The sale price was also still good on the G48 so I got one of those instead. I liked the overall handling and balance of the gun, with it feeling more like a larger gun than it really was.

Then I came back another week or so later and got the G43X!
