I have bought a KKM Glock model 20 barrel last year I compared it to the factory one which looked the same put it in and it ran fine. I just bought a KKM model 29 for my other Glock the problem is when I received it was different from the factory, in that the bottem contours were not the same. It basiclly looked like it had been a 20 barrel that someone cut short. The factory 29 barrel is contoured different. This really would not be a problem other than when I put it in the 29 it added some weight to the trigger, almost a binding when pulled the place I bought it from a big glock online website said "if it says 10mm shoot it!" I put it back in and could not get over the trigger so I called Kevin at KKM he told me everything looked fine but he would double check. Has anybody else had this problem or noticed a different contour in the barrels also? Glock made two different barrel profiles for two seperate guns that share a caliber a reason I think.

Not sure what you mean by the "barrel contour," but the locking lugs have always been different between G29's and G20's. I can't imagine why the barrel is causing a heavy trigger pull. Have you tried the factory barrel to see if the trigger pull is not heavy with the factory barrel?

Yes that is what really brought me to notice the different contours. By contour I mean at the bottem of the barrel looking from the side end of the barrel to the right on the factory 29 it is basically swept back to the left with one notch. On the KKM 29 barrel I received it had the same profile as the 20 a more up and down with several protruding notches. If I cut down my KKM 20 barrel to the length of the 29 that is what I got, But everybody is telling me its normal. Even if you go to the KKM or Barsto website click on the 20 and 29 barrel you can see they are suppose to be different not the same just as the factory I was just wondering if anybody else was told this or had this problem.
