Simple yes or no...do all Gen5 Glocks (the G19 specifically), have a smooth trigger face instead of the abrasive blister-your-finger-after-100-rounds trigger?

I saw 3 Gen5's at my store - a G19, G19 MOS, and G17 - all having the same smooth trigger face, and wondered if it was a coincidence, an aftermarket addition, or just the norm.

As always, thanks!

Both my Gen 5's, all of my Gen 4's, and a couple of my Gen 3's all have smooth triggers.

I never noticed the ones that have the serrations on the triggers were a problem either, and never would have thought to check.

Whats makes them rub you the wrong way? :p

I never put much range time in with glocks until recently, but the right side of the trigger just bugs my trigger finger. It's not painful, but I like that the gen5's smoothed it out.

Thanks for the info!

I put my Gen3 G17 trigger assy in my Gen3 G19, which originally had a serrated trigger shoe face. The Gen3 G17 trigger assy. was a takeoff when I put the APEX Enhanced trigger assy on the 17. The serrated trigger would chafe my trigger finger but it raised a callous anyway.

Yes (to Op question), the smooth trigger is the first thing I would switch in all my Glocks, I did not like the rough trigger of old, never fun in a class where hundreds of rounds where fired.
