Same happened with my Gen-5’s, but it also happened with an older G-22 that I converted to 9mm. Even the Gen 3 and 4 guns had a jerky cycle, I wouldn’t be surprised if a bit of firing pin drag inside the primer pocket wasn’t happening with those, too. ( No X-Ray vision here, just hazarding a guess .)
The two Gen 5 Glocks I have (45 and 19X) work beautifully when fired. It seems like this is a bit of an odd one-off situation with that type of dummy round. (If it starts happening while firing, then the gun really needs attention.)
I was getting that old style Glock square primer mark/firing pin swipe issue from years past bubbling in my mind. Seemed to make sense while I was typing.
