Why do I normally shoot sub compact Glocks equal to or better than many compact & full size pistols? Example... I typically shoot smaller groups @ 25 yards with my G27 and G33 than I do with my G19 & G17. Whats up with that?

Who here uses Glock Sub Compacts for their conceal carry gun?

Curious who all uses the +2 Magazine?

What holster do you like the best?

I recently picked up a G33. It's wicked accurate. Not as fun for me to shoot as my 1911's but it carries well in a custom OWB holster. My +2's have a little "rattle" to them so I stick with standard issue mags with finger extensions.

My Glock 27 is pretty accurate and very reliable. I use a plain old Galco IWB. I do have at least 3 +2 mags and a 31-round Korean just for the heck of it.

I have a mini Glock 9mm. But, I also have a G19 and had a G17, I found the bigger guns to be more accurate. I can't think of a reason why your smaller gun would be more accurate - maybe the load you are shooting just works better in that particular weapon.

The sub-compacts point much more naturally for me than the larger counterparts. I feel it has something to do with the grip angle and placement of the notorious "hump."

Lately for me it's been a G26 in a Galco SoB positioned just to the 5 o'clock position. Rides pretty well and seems to conceal well too.

I do. I shoot it well, can reload as quick as any other Glock, and it just disappears in my IWB holster. I, too, seem to shoot it better than my G17. I don't know why either! :)

I use a Comp-Tac MTAC IWB holster - I've never found anything even NEAR as comfortable, and with the two belt clips, it stays right where I put it, even when I occasionally jog with it. WAY more comfortable than the Galco tuckable holster I own. I don't even use that anymore, it was so uncomfortable compared to the MTAC.

I sometimes carry my smith 642, sometimes my G26.

I still haven't picked up leather for them yet, (not into internet holster buying) but I carry them OWB in a fobus.

i've got a 26. i have peirce +3 extensions on my 10 rd mags, 3 glock 15 mags with the sleeves that fit over the mag and essentally make your 26 a shorter barrelled 19 and a few 33 rd mags for the range. i'm carrying it in a desantis cozy partner iwb just behind my right hip. i'm shooting better with it every trip to the range.

I recently shot my daughter's G26. It's scary accurate. Now I want one.

I carry a G27 almost every day.
Sometimes I switch the G27 barrel for a G33 barrel to shoot .357Sig.

I have a Don Hume H721OT holster that's rather nice.
But most of the time I just use the Glock Combat/Sport holster....
They're inexpensive and they work very well for OWB concealed carry.

Occassionally I use magazines with the Pearce grip extension, and sometimes I use the Glock +1 magazine....

I recently purchased a G26 OD frame. I haven't had it long, but it is a very good shooter. I am working on a review of it that I will hopefully have posted within the week.

When I qualified with it and my G19, I actually scored higher with the G26. I don't know why though. The "hump" on my G26 sits right in the center of my palm, but it isn't uncomfortable. It is very accurate for its size too.

I love the way the Sub glocks look, but the front to back thickness is way too much for my hands.

I love my Glock 26. It is very accurate and I shoot it as well as the 19 but no experience with a 17. It just disappears when I carry it in a Glock Combat holster.

I really think the 26 shines as a dual carry/nightstand gun. It is great on the belt with a ten rounder and gives you the capacity of the G19 with a magazine with spacer. I like one gun to train with and keep everything the same. The thing now feels like an extension of my hand.

Just my two cents worth, but I find that I shoot better when my little finger is not closing on the grip.

In fact I make a conscious effort to keep the pinkie loose, so as to avoid milking the gun.

With subcompacts there isn't enough room on the grip for the pinkie to interfere with aim when the trigger is pressed.

That's one of the reasons, other than concealability, why I also like boot grips on snub nosed revolvers.

I grip my pistol only with the two middle fingers and thumb.

Used to carry a G19, now carry a G26 -- usual setup is in a High Noon Bare Asset holster with the OEM 10-round mag with the GAP floorplate, and an extra OEM 12-round mag in the mag pocket of my 5.11 pants/shorts (or in a OWB mag pouch). I'm also experimenting with a Galco Walkabout holster.

For me, I seem to point the 26 better than the 19. I had to concentrate on the 19 to aim it because it naturally wanted to point high for me, whereas the 26 points on target with much more ease. I think I know why -- here's a pic of me holding the 19:

That little extra bit of grip on the 19 (someone else called it the "hump") pushes into my hand, and forces the barrel up. With the 26, without those extra five rounds in the bottom of the grip, nothing pushes against my hand and the barrel naturally comes back down.

I've kind of been wondered if having the hump higher up (placement) helps out, myself. I actually don't mind the grip angle so much as the location of the "hump" on the larger glocks. As AJChenMPH pics show.

The mini Glocks impress the heck out of me considering their size and weight.

I carry a G27 daily and it's by far my favorite pistol. Love the hell outta the thing! I, like you, also noticed that I shoot it better than it's full-size and compact counterparts.

As a matter of fact I'm picking up some XS big dot sights this weekend! Can't wait to see it in action with those babies installed! It's easy to fall in love with a Glock.

got a question for you guys w/ the glock 26 & 27. I have the 27 and would like to carry it inside the waist band but do not think that it would be comfortable at the 3-4 oclock postion for me and was looking for something in the 6-oclock position. any suggestions?

I found that the best way, for me atleast, is to carry it on my appendix (1 o' clock postion) with an IWB Soft Armor USA holster.

I almost forget it's there.
