They're pretty reliable tools, even if they're not pretty. My .45ACP Model 30 doesn't like lead semi-wadcutter ammo, but it runs 100% with every type of round-nose ammo I've fed it.
 
i shoot both a glock 22 and a 27. the 22 has a much higher round count than the 27 and i have seen a malfunction or two that i do not believe was the ammo's fault (failure to eject). i have had other malfunctions that i know were my fault or the ammo's fault. i would say my G22 has been 99.99999% reliable while my G27 has been 100% (also havent shot it near as much).
