outofbattery,

Can you give us some details on that...whatever it is...that fills the cutout on the bottom of the frame? Is it the base plate? I've never seen that before.

Just came back to this thread and if a bad cell pic will do here goes but yeah,it's just a Pearce - mea culpa,I misspelled it earlier- baseplate that fills in the notch. The notch always was a nuisance to my pinkie so it works well to solve that.

Don't cry guys, but you probably wouldn't look so hot after living in a holster for 16 years either:p

-whoo,that's actually not that bad -directly under a lamp to cast some shadow it looks like only the front 1/3 of the slide is mangy!-

Man,you've got to snatch that up! Glock will sort it out and refinish it for $45 returned to you.

I've been thinking of getting a Caspian slide ( and have it etched with Glock 7 - Made in Germany- Ceramic ) and retiring the old slide to the bookshelf as art but it still functions just fine and besides,I'm an ugly lookin' guy with scars so my piece should be an ugly lookin' gun with scars as well.

Just Glockin along

Currently I have 4 Glocks. 2 21's and 2 27's. The 21's I carry small of back with a right and left Blade Tech holsters. I know what y'all are thinking SOB is asking for back injury if I fall. In my case being 6'4" and 350lbs they just meld into the fatback! Have fallen on them one time, ego was hurt more than anything else. Why 2 27's? Poker game on an ace high bluff, heh heh heh!:neener: Got his riding lawn mower two months later. We play some weird poker.

Only got a Glock because of the Glock 20. It's a fantastic platform for the awesome 10mm round loaded nice and hot. My other 10 guns are non-Glock and I don't anticipate buying another Glock. They're OK for the money, work well, and that's about it. No love affair here -- sorry.

I didn't really fall in love with my G27, I sold it. But it was 100% reliable and easy to maintain, can't complain about that.

A lot of people out there don't seem to care for the looks of Glock pistols. They usually find the slides and the trigger guards too squarish looking for them. I myself think they are one of the best looking (great tactical look) pistols out there. They are dead reliable and simple in design (the only firearm pistol brand I own that I can fully detail strip (with confidence) and get parts for easily and cheaply). Glocks just have a lot of appeal to me. I own more Glocks than all my other brand pistols I own combined.

Has anyone seen the custom jobs that can be done to Glocks?

Here are some pictures. Really cool.

add me for another... glock 35 !! in a week or so... ok i went to the gunshop to get another 23... someone just traded in a glock 35 with night sights 509 used.. i couldnt resist even with the ugly rounded nose... it has 5lbs trigger, extd. controls, and a plug and im still lost on this... it has a 1 infront of the serial what does this mean?
also i dont know the make of the night sights... it didnt have the usual painted name it had a stamp one letter was a T and i dont know what the other one was... but oh well i got glock fever

#1 before serial Number

The #1 in front of the serial number is because it was one of the recalled ones. The letter after it must be an "E". It has been refurbished. Was this disclosed to you? Did you get a great deal? I think $509 you overpaid. I wouldn't give more than$400. I might say something to the seller if it wasn't disclosed.

Check out Glocktalk.com or Glock.com for more information.

well i rather pay that than 650 for a new one... i get ripped a new one around here for glocks
and yes it had a e to be exact it was 1etl84***
