My wife started cleaning my office, where most of my knives were, and told me to put them in the safe. I meant to move at least some of them to the safe anyway so the big move was on. :)

I've been cleaning them and took some pics of some of the folders:

Strider SnG:

Wheeler knife (not a folder but what the heck):

Old Shrade "Skoal" knife:

Kershaw set I got from my employer for having 10 years in 1989 (I now have 36):

Some of the Case knives:

Buck 112 from the 80's:

Here's all of it stuffed in the safe:

Hope you like 'em!

Mine was given to me when I left one yard at work and went to another. Can't remember when exactly, maybe late 80's.

Cleaning is not fun but we just found (between my desk and the wall) a knife I commissioned Trace Rinaldi to make at the '04 Blade Show. He delivered at Shot Show time and I was wondering what happened to it. :) Have to take some more pics!

Here's the knife I found, it's a "LEO" model and the first Trace made from Damascus. I bought the Odin's Eye damacus at Blade and gave it to Trace. Neat find!

Ever lose a knife like that? A fixed blade?

Thanks Steve! We found a bunch more but I'm too tired to take pics. :)

Found the first knife I ever made (it's hideous) and the 2 fixed blades I made for the grandkids. Also found the Emerson Commander that was missing and that started the search, plus more Case and a Alsdorf custom slipjoint.

Most of my collection. Lower left are Shirley-Owens, including a handmade ARK in 440C.

The small knife two spaces to the right of the hatchet is a modified Combat Shark, Don.

You fellas sure have some awesome knives I have a meek collection. Buck 110 is my edc, Condor Hudson Bay is my hunting blade, cold Steel peace maker is my boot knife/secondary edc, I have a husqvarna hatchet for the camp, and some black Gerber pocket knife I got cheap from walmart.

John, nice!

Barry, I used to have about the same as you - and then I started making knives and getting really into knives. That's when I started adding a lot of them, then I met many knife makers and that got me into trading or flat out buying some of their knives.

I just tried that with leather on my last knife and it was ok, nothing too great. Need a lot more practice!

Man I was out working on a knife and it's hot!

Here's a pic of the knife in the sheath:

I learned a lot and would do some things differently.

Awesome collection! I especially like the "lost" Trace Rinaldi Damascus blade. I should be so fortunate to find something like that between my desk and the wall!

I have sold some knives in the past few years but I didn't think I sold that one so it's location was a mystery. Until the wife pulled it out of there! It's worth something too - I paid about $100 for the steel and at least $300 for the knife from Trace. It was also his first LEO from Damascus.

Any time you need help cleaning up anywhere around the house I would be happy to come out there and give you a hand! Got to love the possibility of a treasure hunt!

Out in the shop I run across knives all the time that for one reason or another I abandoned, and I always look them over to see what was wrong. Knives everywhere out there. :)

got enough beer in me and time on my hands this afternoon while the families are at different parties to photograph my knives, well most of them .. Wait for it ...
