I had to work yesterday afternoon, but had time to attend a local gun show for a while yesterday morning. While there, I was rummaging through a bunch of bargain-priced plastic ammo boxes, and I found several that I bought. While I was looking through them, the proprietor was in the midst of a trade for some stuff with someone a bit over to my left.
At one point I heard them mention some 9mm bullets. I just picked up bits and pieces of the conversation, but when I went to pay for what I had, I asked him if he had any deals on 9mm bullets. He replied that he did indeed. He offered me two 1,000 count bags of 115 gr JHP. When he said he'd take $35 for all of them, I thought maybe I had missed the word "hundred" in the price. When I asked him to repeat, he said "Thirty five for the two thousand." I tried not to be too ecstatic as I reached for my wallet. That seemed like a heckuva deal to me, but I guess I won't know for sure until I load some of these bad boys up and give 'em a whirl. (All I've ever previously loaded for 9mm has been 125 gr LRN.)
