Must be a rough hood, if the currency exchange is open til midnight...
I dunno. Cop gets off duty... looking for something to do... has less than $20 on him... goes to a late night currency exchange in a bad hood... to buy stamps... not paying attention in aforementioned bad hood...gets gun stuck in his back...forced to give up his little money....then his stamps....turns the tables on gunman...ventilating said gunman....without a scratch to hisself...
What, I wonder, is the conditional prob of all of that happening in one evening?

a round-table discussion in illinois is where a bunch of lowlifes who wouldn't get into the state's bottom-rung universities today get together with a lot of blow and then play spin the bottle to decide whose brother in law gets the next zero-qualification quarter-million-dollar-a-year government job and play pin the tail on the gun laws to determine what bills to push for next year.
in terms of the shoot, it doesn't seem that unlikely to me. maybe he should have stayed in a better area, but we don't know where he lives, or his friends or family live... and honestly, i'd hope that cops are spending time in the neighborhoods where they're likely to be needed, seeing as they are the sole protectors of disarmed illinois.
