got a really strange Winchester 1000XS air rifle?!

Deciding this time getting myself an air rifle instead of firearms, I bought this Winchester 1000 XS (with a 3-9x32 scope) air rifle at the Sports authority several days ago. The shop assistance opened a new box and I checked quickly to make sure every thing is there. Today I visited the Sports authority again to buy some ammo, and handled the Winchester air rifles they showed on the rack again, back home I fondled my air rifle, and I found something strange!

First, the sample guns on the store's rack seems has all their cylinder protruding the forearm tip of the stock about 2~3 inchs, but the tip of the gas cylinder on mine is about flash with the forearm tip, I am not sure whether this means mine has a smaller cylinder or longer stock.

Second, and the most strangly, the triggers on the store's sample guns all have a non-adjustable trigger with solid one piece trigger guard. The trigger on mine is quite different. It has different shape (slimer), and the trigger guard has two holes. While I looked through the holes, Gosh! I found two screws, one is obviously the rear trigger guard screw, another one is on the root of the trigger! What is this, an adjustable trigger? I didn't try to adjust it, but I test fired this air rifle, the trigger is much lighter than the ones on my friends' Winchester air rifles, though still a little at the heavy side (5~6 pounds).

This really confused me. From the gas cylinder along it looks like a Winchester 500X, but the marking on this rifle tell me unquestionly it is a Winchester 1000X. Did Daisy produce a special batch of Winchester 1000SX air rifles like mine, or this is just a misplaced and mismarked air rifle? I didn't have any equipment to test the muzzle velocity of this rifle, and the trigger is really from the standard ones. Did any of you guys get a Winchester 1000X air rifle just like mine?
