GP100 .44 spcl

I doubt that such a conversion would be cheap. Custom cylinder, extractor, hand, barrel, and probably some other small parts as well. Hand built. I'm sure it would be tack driving revolver, but cheap? I doubt it.
 
Lots of us thought the GP frame would do fine for a 41, too. Apparently Ruger didn't. Probably the 6 shot too thin walled and the cost of a five shot tool up too much.

I wonder if we could persuade Ruger to take another look at a .40 or .41 GP-100? After all, S&W have done so with their 686 - they put in a titanium cylinder to handle the fatter rounds, and kept the resulting 646 at the same size as its .357 Magnum predecessor. Surely Ruger could do something similar?
 
if they could build a .40 or .41 would it be possible to have a 10mm also or would the presures be to high?
