Well, this is a first for me anyway.

I was on CNN just to check out how bad their news was. I returned to my only news channel FOX and was totally surprised to see Henry Rifles advertising. I can't recall ever seeing a gun advertisement on television before.

To tell the truth I am not sure what to think about this.

Has anyone sell seen this yet and what do you think?

Way to go for Henry Rifles! I can't remember seeing an ad for a gun on regular TV. I was already planning on picking up one of their .22 lever actions as my next purchase. At least they are spending their ad dollars wisely.

I searched YouTube and couldn't find a link to the ad, but if somebody finds it please post it. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

the only place i've seen firearms ads on the tube before was someitimes when watching the hunting shows or target shooting shows televised (i have seen the bianchi cup on tv a couple of times) they would run a winchester or other makers ad..... i have wished for years the firearms makers would hit the mainstream advertising with some gun or ammo ads.......

LIFE IS SHORT.....

Henry is a sponsor of the Saturday Night Knife and Gun Show, shown every Saturday night at 7:00 CDT for 2 hours on DISH 224. Tune in and you will see the ad.

Yeah, I thought perhaps that there may be some gun advertising on one of the hunting/sporting channels. I just don't watch them enough to ever have remembered one.

I see them all the time, all gun makers including Henry, on the Outdoor Channel. Handgun ads are are even on Wed. nights.

Henry also advertises on RFDTV all the time- a few weeks ago I emailed the company and thanked them for supporting the programming. The CEO emailed back within 10 minutes! He wrote that if I ever had any questions- shoot him an email- a Henry or two are definitely on my to-buy list.

I didn't know it before but now I need a Henry. Nice, waiting for other's to join the mainstream and start buying ad time.
