Subject: Geraldo's irresponsible character assassination
What is wrong with Geraldo Rivera and those who are supposed to edit his
slander? I was dumbfounded by his unfounded and twisted portrayal of a
young Asian man who happened to be connected to VT and happened to own
firearms. Even after LE notified your network that they knew who the
murderer was, Rivera continued his slander.
Wayne Chaing is an innocent young man who has been verbally assassinated
by Geraldo Rivera. Rivera is consistently either in error or defaults
to sensationalism without any regard for the wreckage he leaves behind.
He needs early retirement. I usually turn the channel when I see him.
Now I'm probably not going to tune in Fox News at all.
Mr. Chaing is now receiving death threats which top the list of the
public humiliation being heaped on him by Rivera's yellow journalism,
and by association, your network.
Don Imus' remarks pale in comparison to what Geraldo has done to Mr.
Chaing. I used to respect your network, but the only way you'll get
that back is by making sure Geraldo is no longer able to twist the news
to suit his warped agenda.
I'm looking for e mail sites for advertisers and will let them know how
I feel..
