Over the weekend, illegal aliens once again took to the streets in Los
Angeles demanding "Amnesty Now." And today, President Bush is touring
the border to promote his "Z-Amnesty" plan.

Meanwhile, fallout continues from the illegal alien drunk who killed two
teens in Virginia Beach.
If you missed the O'Reilly/Geraldo segment, be sure to watch it below.

I've decided to list for you "Resources" and "Today's Actions" below.

+ + Today's Actions

Action #1 -- Let the President know that his new amnesty
proposal is unacceptable!

Call the White House and your two Senators
and say you oppose Bush's "Z-Visa/Amnesty"
plan.

Where Was INS?

Looks like the Prez gave the INS the day off.
Seems like a target rich environment. We could have supported the Arabs by spending all that money on diesel fuel for busses to Mexico, and I am sure the LE folks could use the OT.

this is gun related how? IBTL

POSTS IN LEGAL & POLITICAL DO NOT HAVE TO BE GUN RELATED. Please read the rules before jumping into hall monitor mode.

If you're wondering why this is relevant to you then just ask yourself what will happen when Washington starts paying more attention to the demands of illegals who 1) broke the law already, and 2) are demanding amnesty which when done in the past has resulted in increased illegal immigration.

Legal and political
Legal, The problem is that these are NOT legal immigrants. There has been an increase in shootings by illegals, there are mexican gangs that are operating in this country. These are concerns both to Legal immigrants and to native citizens.
Political, The present government is doing NOTHING to secure the borders.
Two border Patrol officers were arrested and convicted. Evidence was manufactured.
The National Guard has been shot at twice (that I know of) , and citizens on the border are being demonized in the press.

How is it not relavent.

What is not talked about much in this "new" proposal is cost to the taxpayer,
if given green cards they will be allowed to bring extended family young, old,
etc., our current medical system is in trouble now, Medicare, social security.
How can people with less then an 8th grade education pay necessary taxes
to fund a system now going broke.?
Related to firearms, think about the problems once our system breaks down
when it happens firearms will be a big part of the process. Too many people
in such a short period of time, more crime, more laws, less freedom.
The fact is not where they come from but the numbers, like it or not we
no longer live in a time when uncontrolled immigration can be tolerated.

I demand amnesty for illegal machine gun possession!

Hey, if they can demand amnesty, why can't we?

:D

I just can't believe some of the things that Illegal Immigrants get away with. I mean, how can .gov expect us to pay taxes when there is a growing percentage of society that doesn't pay? et cetera, et cetera...

Hey, if they can demand amnesty, why can't we?
Because you're a racist gringo who has had everthing in life handed to him on a silver platter, never having to work for anything or known hardship. Unlike the honest, hardworking undocumented workers who just come here for a better life and the American Dream. :neener:

I think wingman's correlation of this mess with firearms is correct. As our social systems continue to collapse under the weight of millions of free-loaders with no legitimate right to non-emergency healthcare, education for their kids, food stamps, WIC, etc, etc, etc... More people, citizens and illegals both, may start resorting to violent criminal means just to survive. More crime = more clammor for more gun laws.

Cochise County is located in the southeast corner of Arizona. It is mostly rural, with the exception of the Army's Fort Huachuca and the nearby city of Sierra Vista. Along the U.S. / Mexican border are towns such as Bisbee (the County Seat) Naco, and Douglas. Bisbee and Douglas are former copper mining towns where there is no longer any mining activity. That was shut down years ago by environmentalists.

Recently this was in the local media.

Illegal border activity jumps

02:52 PM Mountain Standard Time on Sunday, April 8, 2007
By The Associated Press

BISBEE, Ariz. (AP) -- After nearly two years of declining numbers, authorities say illegal border-crossings took a sudden jump last month in Cochise County.
The Border Patrol says agents at the Naco, Douglas and Willcox stations captured more than 13,000 illegal immigrants last month.

That's a 30 percent increase from March 2006.
Before the spike, Border Patrol apprehensions in the county were down 13 percent since October 1.

Bisbee Police Sergeant Taron Maddux says warmer springtime temperatures were affecting local immigration flow.

Maddux also suspects that human smugglers who were pushed out of the area two or three years ago by a Border Patrol buildup are returning for another try.

I hope everyone will read this carefully. In this one, relatively small area, the Border Patrol caught 13,000 Illegal immigrants in one month!

Now these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are demanding citizenship in this country on their, not our, terms.

Was it immigrants that built this country? Yes indeed, but most of them were not illegal. Do we need Mexican laborers? Maybe, but not on their terms. Regardless of what they may think, this in not their country.

But... but... according to our President, poor people are only poor because they WANT to be poor. They just lack the will and motivation to become rich. So it's impossible for these hardworking folks to be poor. You'll see. Letting them all in free will usher in a whole new era of peace and prosperity for all Americans...

Well, I've always wanted to try thriving in a 3rd world country....
-----------------------------
The way we're going, that may be sooner than later. We can't even agree as a nation as to what our official language should be. :cuss:

the really sad thing is mexico wouldn't have to be a third world country with all of their oil reserves, beautiful beaches, tropical weather, and great potential for tourism it could be a very rich country...... the gov is and always has been so corrupt the coutry dosen't have a chance...... as for the illeagle aliens demonstrating i guess some might call that a target rich environment:cool: ................................

.

They are ruining this country, and our overlords are letting it happen.

The rich are getting richer on the back of illegal alien labor, and the middle
class is getting squeezed.

You know it and I know it, but nothing will happen. It will continue to get
worse until the reconquista is complete.

The marches of illegals demanding amnesty are striking in their brazenness.
Could anything be more farcical than criminal invaders demanding amnesty,
and the state doing nothing about it? It should be quite obvious to
everyone by now that the state has no interest in doing anything about it.

This is all just talk

Until I see Bill Pulte in an orange jumpsuit on the six o'clock news.

How about an immediate corporate death penalty for hiring even one illegal worker? What if the officers of the corporation lost the personal liability protections of incorporation as part of that penalty? I'd bet that the shareholders, banks, and investors would be mighty POed that they had lost all of their investments because the company had chosen to break the law. I bet they'd want some of their money back.

I bet if getting caught hiring illegal workers meant that you lost your business, your personal wealth, and you freedom, people wouldn't do it.

I bet if nobody hired illegal workers, they'd mostly stop coming here.

I bet if nobody hired illegal workers, wages in a lot of industries would rise, due to restricted supply. Which, of course, is why it won't happen.

I figure, the more money that Americans make, the more money they can spend, and if the stuff they buy is made here, then their money goes into the pockets of other Americans, and America benefits.

Our business and political leaders don't see it that way. If they can export your job, they will. If they can't, they'll import the workers instead.
