It seems evident that the more gun controls we have the higher the gun crimes we have as well.

This is quite the opposite from what our president, other socialists, and the Brady Campaign wold have us believe.

SCOTUS ruled that the police have no duty to protect an individual (although they will if they want to).

With that being said how can you protect yourself without a gun (and lots of training/practice)?

Criminals are generally lazy folks. They will pick easy 'safe' targets. If someone is armed the chances that a criminal will go elsewhere is quite plausible.

IMHO CC is a deterrent to crime, not the opposite.

Nice site, but a mixture of facts/opinions. I saved it. BTW, IMHO, the biggest driver of crime stats in a given locale is its number of available criminals. On a per capita basis, the difference between Chicago, IL and Montpellier, VT is the number of available criminals. Period.
