There is a small, but nice gun show this weekend at the Raddison Motel Conf rooms this weekend.

If anyone is going, let me know.

Not at this show. I usually only set up for the Tanner Show. But this show isnt bad for a local show. It seems all tables are gun oriented. No Beanie babies etc.

Um...what?
Are you serious or is this another case of the failures of text to convey sarcasm/humor?

nope, at the last Tanner show, one of the dealers had a gun with a round in it on the table... guy comes in, picks it up and shoots his buddy in the shoulder.

Long standing dealer who should have known better... Who is no longer allowed to be at the shows and may have other legal issues...

Oh my.
I'm surprised I didn't hear any of it.
But, then again I'm stuck down here in crummy FL most of the year.

Well, don't know if I will go, but if you see a great big guy with a goatee and either a Nuggets or a UNC hat on, ask if its Timbo. If it is me, I am pretty friendly and won't bite.

I believe there was another "accident" at a Tanner show in Denver last year. Some other dolt with a live round in a .380, I think it was, but nobody got hurt. And I think there was another incident in recent years. I just don't understand it.

And I heard on the news that the gun the feller got shot with supposedly had a ziptie on it for safety! Now how the hell can you ziptie the action on a handgun with a live round in the tube? Buncha idiots.

Yep, in the last three years or so, there have been 3 negligent discharges. one was shot in the floor, one in the roof and one in a shoulder.

not good...

And any number of guns can be ziptied and still fired. I check every gun, every time and I dont trust the zipties

That was either last weekend or the weekend before that. Back in the 60's and 70's I was at several gun shows where a firearm was discharged. I wasn't at this one but its the first I've heard of in several years.
